2007 - The Franciscan Fathers - Repair of the monastery structure - Quebec city
In 1901, the Franciscan convent marked the advent of the New France style in Quebec City, followed four years later by the chapel inspired by the same architecture. Now converted into housing, the buildings were constructed with local schist stone, also using grey limestone to complete certain details, including the window quoins and lintels.
