2004 - Grand-Mère hydroelectric dam - Repair of concrete structure - Saint-Maurice River

Commissioned in 1915, the Grand-Mère power station is a hydroelectric plant and dam, with a capacity of 149 MW. → For two seasons, we had 60 full-time employees and a team of divers on the project. We had to fabricate custom caissons to dewater and repair the walls below water level in addition to erecting a barge and tug system to install the systems on both straight walls and round piers. It was quite a challenge!
