In collaboration with California Skatepark, we carried out several phases of this project: modification of the structure to accommodate a new skateboard bowl, demolition of the esplanade roof to add a steel structure to support the bowl, and formwork and concreting of the world-class bowl. In addition to the already high level of complexity of the project, we were in a race against time to get everything up and running in time for the Tokyo Olympic Games qualifiers.
